Dr. Lev provided what I believe to be inadequate and substandard care to my mother; as she was a diabetes patient, he was her primary doctor.

Despite her complaints of more than 2 years' duration of shortness of breath and pain under her right shoulder blade, he did not order a chest x-ray even though she specifically requested one. He told her she had arthritis, then COPD, then referred her for a sleep study despite the fact that was suffering from shortness of breath during the day.

After insisting on a referral to a pulmonary practice in Athens, where they did a chest x-ray on her very first visit, my mother was diagnosed with a Stage II lung cancer. I can't help but wonder if Dr. Lev had simply ordered a x-ray if we wouldn't have found this cancer earlier. The pain under mother's right shoulder blade is exactly where the cancer is located.

I cannot recommend this doctor to anyone.
